Questions
The six that come up before a first order.
- What counts as one video?
- One finished cut at one length. The same cut re-framed for another ratio is not a second video, it comes with the plan. A different edit, a different hook or a different product is.
- What is a revision?
- One round of notes, sent back in one message. We work through the lot and send the new cut. Sending three notes an hour apart is three rounds, so save them up. Re-cutting to a brief that changed is a new order.
- When does the turnaround clock start?
- When your payment is confirmed and we have the brief, the references and whatever we are filming or animating. Not when you send the brief. If we are waiting on you, the clock waits too.
- Can I get a refund?
- Before we start cutting, all of it, no questions. After the first cut is with you, no, because the work is made. If what we sent does not match the brief you wrote, we recut it until it does and that costs nothing.
- Who owns the files?
- You do, from the moment the payment is confirmed. That is the finished video, and the project files too on any plan that includes them. We do not show your work anywhere. There is no portfolio on this site for a reason.
- Why do I pay before anything is made?
- Because chasing an invoice costs more than the job is worth at these prices. You pay and we start that day. It is why a twelve-video month is $899 rather than four thousand, and why a small outfit can promise 48 hours and mean it.
